Because many of the department's upper level courses are offered only once a year, students majoring in Spanish who wish to participate in Co-op must consult with the department's Head Advisor, Stephen Sadow (617.373.2234) and the department's Co-op Advisor, Nancy Geoffrion (617.373.3453). Students majoring Spanish must remember that study abroad is required, usually in the fall of their junior year. Those students wishing to participate in Coop should meet with the Head Advisor and Coop Coordinator during the spring of their freshman year.
